We finally took Colten's tray away; now he officially eats with us at the table!
Colten enjoying his first Popsicle with Grandpa!
Colten turns everything into a chair now ; > This really is his musical table...
The next picture is of Colten and Mommy after Mother's Day mass. I'm sporting my new earrings from Colten, and they are extra special because Colten actually picked them out. How you ask? Well he spotted them behind the glass while shopping and instantly started pointing and ohhing at them. They continued looking, but when passing by the counter once again, Colten had the same reaction. He really wanted Mommy to have those earrings : > He has great taste already! We went on to have a great mother's day with Grandma. After church, Colten took a nap on Grandpa so Grandma and Mommy headed to the mall for a few errands. And we all ended the day with an enjoyable meal at Applebees. Happy Mother's Day Mom! I love you! And Happy Mother's Day to all of you fabulous moms and moms to be!
My quick update: I finally started using my insulin pump 1 week ago. Aside from the initial weekend setup that included lots of fasting and lots of testing my sugar and very little sleep, I am loving it (as much as anyone can I guess). Already my sugar is much more consistent and it is so much easier to manage while giving me even more flexibility. The only thing I have to get used to is changing the insertion area; I still make some mistakes but I'm sure that will become routine soon enough. Oh and the pump is pink! I had to make it at least somewhat enjoyable : >
