The centerpieces ~ we bought the wooden crosses,
and then Tom painted them especially for Ryan.

Ryan slept as everyone arrived but then was up for most of the party.

Then on Sunday, February 5th we baptized Ryan at St. Joseph the Provider in Campbell during the 11 am mass. Father Ruggieri preformed an absolutely beautiful ceremony, and both Ryan and Colten were very well-behaved during the mass. Colten was too cute as he kept asking in a too-loud-for-church voice, "is Ryan already baptized?" Here are some photo highlights...

Ryan was an angel and didn't even cry,
but his eyes did open super wide when the water woke him from his sleep.

And I had to include this photo of Uncle Mike and Colten because I think it is so perfect!
Colten has been really into superheros; here he is as Thor. He especially loves helmets and will be having a superhero themed 3rd birthday party in a few weeks. (I can't believe that he is going to be 3 already!!!)
Continuing with the superhero theme, here are the boys in their matching batman shirts! I figure that I won't have many years to dress them in coordinating outfits so I have to take advantage of the time I have! Wait until you see what I have in store for Easter ~ I will just say "too cute!"
And here is Ryan celebrating his first Valentine's Day!
Grandma and Grandpa got Colten a set of wooden cars and trucks to paint. Here he is tackling his first masterpiece!
